This intimate, chef-curated dining experience will showcase a thoughtfully crafted multi-course menu paired with A. Smith Bowman bourbons. Throughout the evening, Master Distiller David Bock will guide guests through each pour, sharing insight into mash bills, barrel finishes, distillation techniques, and the creative experimentation that defines A. Smith Bowman’s modern identity.

Meet Master Distiller David Bock

David Bock blends operational expertise with a deep passion for whiskey. Before leading production at A. Smith Bowman Distillery, Virginia’s oldest and most award-winning distillery, David helped build the distilling program at the Sazerac House from the ground up. His experience includes sourcing raw materials, training distillation teams, launching bottling lines, and developing new production systems.

Prior to that, David served as Head Distiller and founding member at NOLA Distilling and worked with Celebration Distillation in New Orleans. Today, he continues the legacy of A. Smith Bowman while pushing boundaries through innovative mash bills, unique barrel finishes, and limited experimental releases.
