Our recent Frey Ranch Bourbon Social brought together bold bourbon, incredible food, and a room full of guests moving, mingling, and connecting over something special.

We were honored to welcome Colby Frey, owner and head distiller of Frey Ranch Distillery, along with Susan Hwang, Commercial Director for National Accounts and Control States. Having them in the room transformed the evening into something far beyond a tasting, it became a true behind-the-scenes look at one of the most respected grain-to-glass distilleries in the country.

A Walk-Around Tasting of Frey Ranch Bourbons

Guests explored a dynamic lineup of Frey Ranch expressions at their own pace, creating a more personal and interactive tasting experience.

Featured pours included:

  • Single barrel bourbons ranging from 121 to 126 proof, each one bold, complex, and completely unique

  • Frey Ranch Farm Strength Uncut Bourbon

  • Frey Ranch Straight Bourbon Whiskey

This walk-around format allowed guests to revisit favorites, compare profiles, and engage directly with the Frey Ranch team, all while discovering how their farm-driven process influences every sip.

Elevated Pairings, Designed for Exploration

Instead of a traditional coursed dinner, Chef curated a spread that encouraged grazing, sharing, and pairing on your own terms.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed:

  • A refined charcuterie display

  • A standout custom steak board featuring house-aged ribeye, Kansas City strip, and a dramatic tomahawk, served with thoughtful accoutrements

  • Honey chili crisp chicken wings bringing heat and balance

  • Rich, flavorful ribs

  • House-made pimento cheese

  • Decadent chocolate truffles to round out the experience

Each element was designed to complement the high-proof bourbons while allowing guests to build their own perfect pairings as they moved through the space.
